Assassin's Creed® Rogue – Top In-Game Moments

02/08/2018 12:00 PM

We just revealed Assassin's Creed® Rogue Remastered to the world, a unique game with lots of distinctive moments throughout the journey of its main protagonist, Shay Patrick Cormac. It seems like a great time to reminisce about the most memorable moments of the game before it launches on March 20th.

Please be aware that some of the following moments contain story spoilers.

Going Rogue

Assassin's Creed Rogue stands out for its dark approach. Shay felt betrayed by his own former brothers, so he decided to go rogue and hunt down the Assassins. Players experienced events that led Shay down a path to ultimately becoming the most feared Assassin hunter in history. An Assassin turning against his own brotherhood is most certainly one of the most memorable moments in Assassin’s Creed.

Sing Along

Shanties sung during naval trips were first introduced to the brand with Assassin's Creed® IV: Black Flag, and players quickly fell in love with them. There's nothing better than sailing the great sea with your comrades singing along.

Listen to your favorite shanties here!

Naval Combat & the Morrigan

Speaking of the sea, the game’s award-winning naval combat is a big-time fan favorite – initially introduced with Assassin's Creed® III, revolutionized with Black Flag, and then refined in Rogue. Rogue changed up the naval game with the introduction of the icy seas of the North Atlantic. But fear not, the Morrigan has what it takes to get through the ice.

Familiar Faces

We won’t spoil all of the cameos in Assassin’s Creed Rogue, but we can guarantee that you will reconnect with some old friends. Among them is a fan favorite whom many love to hate (and some love to love): Haytham Kenway.

You may not always agree with his methods, but his ruthless cunning and deadly expertise make Haytham one of the most fascinating Templars in Assassin’s Creed history.

Mentors Guild Top Moment: Exploring the North Atlantic

We asked the Mentors Guild for their favorite things about Assassin’s Creed Rogue. One of their top choices was the setting of the game, which takes place primarily during the mid-1700s in New York and the surrounding areas.

The beautiful vistas of the North Atlantic combined with the unstable political climate of the Seven Years’ War make for an exciting era of history to explore.

Make sure you pick up Assassin's Creed® Rogue Remastered for PS4 and Xbox One on March 20th and discuss your favorite moments with other fans on our official forums! Follow us on Twitter @AssassinsCreed for the latest updates.
